Another week down with successful planning and a workshop! Thank you to Linda Murray and Kara Weipz for organizing the ornament project and keeping us all on track.
Next Tuesday, October 25, Mothers for Others will be having their famous Krispy Kreme donut sale in the morning. Donuts are $1 - bring cash. First come first serve and they always sell out.

Fall Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheon
The Fall Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheon is coming up on Tuesday, October 18! Don’t forget to send in your items on Tuesday morning. If you can lend a hand with setup it will begin at 12:30 on Monday. Questions? Contact Teri Benelli Shields, Cinde Hark, or Patti Robak.

Trivia Night | 6-8:30 p.m.
Mothers’ Club Trivia Night sponsored by the Onyx club. All Prep moms, mother figures, alumni moms, friends, and family are invited to join the fun. Bring a team or join one there. Meet new friends and reconnect with your fellow Prep moms. The evening is free!
Feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks for your table. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Although this a free event, “Free passes” will be sold at the event to bypass a question. All proceeds will go to support the Valentine's Outreach and Mothers for Others. Sign up link will be sent next week.

Mothers' Club Workshop | **TIME CHANGE** 6-8 p.m.
Due to the overwhelming success of our first evening workshop of the year, we will change the 11/9 workshop from day to evening. Help make senior ornaments. Homecoming
Saturday, November 26 is Homecoming!
Mark your calendar and join us at The Snowball – A Winter Wonderland Dance.
Homecoming tickets and raffles will be available in the upcoming weeks. The raffles are one of the biggest fundraisers of the year so please keep an eye out for them and support the Mother’s Club with raffle sales.
For those new to the Prep, student Homecoming is one portion of the school – the Fieldhouse. The parent and alumni party is in the cafeteria. It is a fun night for all. Keep an eye out for more details in the next week.
December 7
Gesu Christmas
Planning has begun on this treasured Mothers’ Club tradition. Gesu Christmas is a service project run by the Mothers’ Club in which we divide into teams to provide Christmas breakfast, dinner, and gifts to families and senior citizens in need through the neighboring Gesu School. Last year we adopted 45 families and 20 local seniors.
The project culminates on December 7 with the Mothers’ Club community mingling and shopping and delivering the items to the Gesu school. We will be providing more information in the upcoming weeks, as we especially would like to get an early start and avoid delays in Santa’s sleigh.
The first thing we need to do as the Mothers' Club is to create our teams! How many teams we create will be how many families we can adopt. We are currently looking for alumni, area, team, and club captains to organize a team to coordinate food and gifts. Teams can be a local parish team, a family, a group of friends, a sports team, or a club. If you captained a team before or are interested in putting one together, please email Cinde Hark at Cindehark@gmail.com. Please let Cinde know how many people are on your team and the region, or “type” of team (local, sports team, club) Team sizes vary and can be a few people up to the size of a sports team. Please direct any questions and volunteer to be a Gesu captain or on a team through Vice President, Cinde Hark.
If you do not want to captain but want to join a team and participate, please also send Cinde your name as well, you will be assigned to a local team in November.
**Please note this is a Mothers’ Club event. The school and our sons also have many opportunities to give back throughout the holiday season including Operation Santa Claus and the Thanksgiving drive.
